I had absolutely amazing stay, the place is wonderful!
The hotel was a cozy base for enjoying a beautiful area, adjacent to the Murren cliffs, hikes above-and-below Murren, and the mountains and valley. I was there for 1 night and ate at attached restaurant for lunch. The staff was absolutely kind, good services. The location of the venue was great - within a close distance from Murren - Birg. Everything was simply perfect.

I spent six nights in a Superior Double Room Panorama at the Edelweiss in Murnen, and the view from my balcony was amazing, overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley and the iconic Eiger. The location blew me away. I was right on the edge of the cliff. The breakfast buffet offered so many healthy options and included a self-serve espresso bar, made my mornings bright. I enjoyed meals on the terrace, surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery. The staff was friendly and helpful, really making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The shower in the room had clear glass walls, which might feel awkward for those sharing with non-romantic partners. A tiny refrigerator in the room would have been a nice touch, as it would let me store snacks and drinks. Minor cleaning issues with the upholstery could be addressed, too. Nonetheless, the experience was lovely.

I was here for 3 nights and ate at attached restaurant for lunch. The beds were very clean and the view of the valley was spectacular. Incredible location, the hotel was close to a train station. Btw, it was close to Murren heart of the city.

We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was pretty awesome! The room was spacious with a balcony that had such a cool view of the town and mountains. The decor felt modern and classy. It was super clean. Only bummer was the shared balcony setup, but that didn't ruin the vibe. The bed was comfy, and having a separate tub was a nice touch. It.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great view, clean room. Although my room did not have the mountain view, there are a cozy lounge, breakfast room and restaurant with a breathtaking view for everybody. A shared computer with internet access is available free of charge.

Exterior looks too simple, but it was all renovated inside especially bathroom was looking brand-new. The view from balcony was indescribable. Facing to deep valley, and at other side of the valley is the hill of Kl.Scheidegg. Color of mountains & sky was changing gradually, and we could enjoy seeing various colors during sunsetting. Actually we booked a junior suite but a lady(guess owner) showed us 2 different types, junior suite and superior twin, so that we could choose superior twin with such gougeous view. All staff was so friendly that we could spend nice weekend in Muerren.

Great montain view just from our balcony, it's wonderful.Warm room, wooden style room, all of these all good.
Breakfast just so so, except for the montain view, the price maybe too high.

The owners are very nice people and helpful. The location offers total privacy if you have a mountain view room.
The towels and linens in my room could have been better quality. I had a synthetic comfortor not down. A towel had holes and were frayed. That is the only hotel which did not suppy down in my 20 day stay in Switz. I asked the housekeeper but she said that is all they had. I did not bother to ask the owners as they work so hard and are busy. It would be nice to have a waterboiler in the room. I brought my own. It was cold weather and it would be nice if they had a tea maker available in the room or complimentary for guests to use.

The amazing mountain views from the room captivated my imagination every morning. Breakfast was a good array of Swiss specialties. While the room was spacious and well-designed, I found the location a bit inconvenient for exploring beyond the area. The dining options had some inconsistencies, so I recommend sticking to popular choices like the Filet Steak and Cheese Fondue.

great views but some amenities need attention
The panoramic room was very nice, showcasing the majestic Eiger every morning. I appreciated the well-stocked laundry facilities . Breakfast had a good variety and was always fresh. The mountain view seemed like a postcard come to life.
The ice maker took longer to provide ice than expected.
